Invite Activity — pool size against the invited pool
Pool size on its own says nothing about movement. This view puts the two measurements side by side: how many EOIs are waiting in an occupation, and how many were holding an invitation when the snapshot was taken. The gap between them is the closest the published data comes to a sense of throughput.
What this view measures
Each point is one occupation. One axis is the submitted count, the other is the invited count in the same published month, on the subclass you selected.
Reading the chart
Points high on the invited axis relative to their pool size are the occupations where invitation activity was visible that month. Points far along the submitted axis with little invited activity are the crowded and quiet ones.
Small pools produce unstable ratios. An occupation with 25 submitted and 20 invited looks spectacular and means almost nothing.
What the figure represents
A big pool with a visible invited count is busy. A big pool with almost no invited count is genuinely stuck for that month. Neither state predicts the next month, and neither says at what score invitations went out.

For applicants
Use this to check whether a large pool in your occupation is a busy one or a stalled one. That distinction matters far more than the pool size you may have read elsewhere.
For migration professionals
This chart prevents the most common client misreading — “my occupation has 5,000 people waiting, so it is hopeless” — by showing whether anything is moving through.
Limits of this view
It shows status at one moment, so a month with heavy invitations early and none later can look quiet. It cannot show scores, rounds or nomination decisions.
Common questions
Is the invited count the number of invitations issued?
No. It is how many EOIs were holding an invitation at the snapshot date. Invitations issued during the month are not published in these tables.
Can I work out the invitation cut-off from this?
No. This view has no points dimension at all. Invited vs Queue and Invite Points Pattern show score distributions, and even those are not cut-offs.
