Terms of Service
1. The service
EOI Insights (“we”, “us”) is a web analytics product for exploring Australian SkillSelect EOI statistics (queues, points bands, and related aggregates). Feature availability, daily allowances, rate limits, and plan entitlements may change as we improve the product. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms; the “Last updated” date above will reflect revisions.
2. Accounts & access
Where access controls are enabled, use of the dashboard may require email sign-in (a one-time code or similar verification, and optionally a third-party account provider where offered), a human-verification step, and—in some cases—a valid invite code. Sessions are browser-bound and expire after a period of inactivity. We may revoke, suspend, or limit access for abuse, chargebacks, security risk, or invite-code misuse.
Without signing in, you may browse as a guest (Preview) with a limited set of views and stricter daily ceilings. Creating an account unlocks the Free plan. Elevated access is available through a Trial subscription, a paid Pro subscription, or a Complimentary Pro grant, as described below.
3. Plans & entitlements
Unless otherwise stated in-product, the following plans apply:
- Preview (guest) — limited dashboard tabs and lower daily allowances; no paid subscription.
- Free — signed-in access with a standard daily allowance for data lookups and heavy charts (limits reset after midnight UTC). Personal toolkit views and deeper mid-grain tools remain locked.
- Trial — a short paid-plan trial (currently three days unless stated otherwise at checkout) that unlocks a subset of Pro tools (for example Invite radar, My outlook, Alternatives, points/queue and occupation–state views, plus shareable export where offered), with higher daily allowances than Free but below full Pro. Trial is a distinct plan from Paid Pro.
- Pro (Monthly or Yearly) — the full paid subscription: all Pro tools, deep mid-grain breakdowns, heavy visuals, and the highest daily allowances. Billing starts immediately when you subscribe without a trial.
- Complimentary Pro — organisation or admin invite codes may grant Pro-level access for a fixed period without a paid subscription. Complimentary Pro is not managed through the paid billing portal and ends on the stated end date unless renewed or replaced by a paid subscription.
Exact tab lists, quotas, and rate limits are shown in the product and may be adjusted. Free, Trial, and Pro are mutually exclusive entitlement states for a given account at a given time (subject to any Complimentary Pro grant rules).
4. Trial subscriptions
Where offered, you may start a Trial via our payment provider’s checkout by choosing the Trial option and selecting the Monthly or Yearly plan that will begin when the trial ends. A valid payment method is required up front. You are not charged during the trial period.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends (via Manage Account in the dashboard, which opens our payment provider’s customer portal), the selected Monthly or Yearly Pro subscription starts automatically and you will be billed at the price shown at checkout. Cancelling during the trial ends Trial access immediately and typically results in no charge for that subscription.
Trial access is limited as described in section 3. Only an active paid Monthly or Yearly Pro subscription (or an eligible Complimentary Pro grant) includes the full Pro feature set. Trial eligibility may be limited (for example, one trial per customer); we may decline or revoke a trial where abuse or prior use is detected.
Complimentary Pro may be redeemed at most once per account. If your account already has an active Trial, Pro subscription, or Complimentary Pro access, wait until that access ends before redeeming an invite. If you have a Pro subscription, cancel it via Manage Account so it ends at the current period.
5. Paid subscriptions
Monthly and Yearly Pro subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Choosing Subscribe Monthly or Subscribe Yearly without the Trial path charges at checkout and grants full Pro access for the billing period. From the dashboard, Manage Account opens our payment provider’s customer portal so you can update payment methods, download invoices, or cancel. If you cancel a paid subscription, access generally continues until the end of the current billing period.
Display prices are in the currency shown at checkout (typically AUD). Taxes may apply where required. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
6. Complimentary / organisation Pro
Organisation invite codes may grant Complimentary Pro for a fixed period and may limit how many distinct accounts can register under that code. Complimentary Pro does not auto-renew through our payment provider and is not managed in the paid billing portal. Access ends on the stated end date unless you subscribe, receive a new grant, or an administrator extends the grant. Public sharing or resale of invite codes is prohibited.
7. Fees, refunds & chargebacks
Fees for paid plans are those presented at checkout. Because digital access is delivered immediately, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law or where we determine a billing error or duplicate charge occurred. For billing issues, contact [email protected] with your account email and invoice or payment reference. Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate revocation of elevated access.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, resell, or automate bulk extraction beyond normal interactive use of the dashboard.
- Do not share invite codes publicly or circumvent organisation account limits.
- Do not attempt to bypass security checks, rate limits, authentication, or plan entitlements (including Trial feature limits).
- Do not misrepresent EOI Insights output as official Department advice or as personal migration advice to clients without appropriate professional registration.
We may rate-limit, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
9. Data & accuracy
Counts are of EOIs, not people. Exact figures match published totals where available; estimates for privacy-suppressed cells (<20) are labelled. Government source data can be revised. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the analytics.
10. Emails
We send transactional emails needed to sign in and operate your account (and, where applicable, billing-related notices from us or our payment provider). If we send organisational outreach, those messages include an unsubscribe link; unsubscribed, bounced, and complained addresses are suppressed from further formal outreach.
11. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law and other applicable law, we exclude warranties that the analytics are error-free or fit for a particular migration outcome. We are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of dashboard outputs. Nothing in these terms excludes non-excludable consumer guarantees.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts in Australia will have jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable rights you have locally.
