Cohort River — one month flowing through its outcomes
Cohort Tracker shows the same story as lines. This shows it as flow: everyone who lodged in one month entering on the left, and the stream splitting as EOIs are invited, lapse or remain.
What this view measures
One application month, with the width of each branch showing how many EOIs ended up in each status at later snapshots, on the subclass you selected.
Reading the chart
Follow the widest branches first. A cohort where most of the width ends in the invited branch cleared well; one where it stays in submitted did not.
What the figure represents
Flow makes the proportions immediately legible, which is exactly why it is worth being careful: the same suppression and estimation caveats apply as in Cohort Tracker.

Set the visa and pick an application month with enough history behind it. Recent cohorts have not yet split into anything interesting.

A clear way to see that cohorts do clear, gradually. It still cannot tell you which branch you will be in.

Limits of this view
It cannot follow individuals, cannot separate invitation from withdrawal, and inherits every estimate in the underlying cohort data.
Common questions
Does the invited branch mean visas were granted?
No. It means those EOIs held an invitation at a snapshot. Visa decisions are not part of this data.
