Privacy Policy
Who we are
EOI Insights (“we”, “us”) is an Australian analytics service that helps users explore publicly available SkillSelect EOI statistics. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account data — email address and related authentication metadata needed to create and secure your account (for example, one-time sign-in codes; optionally a third-party account provider if you choose that sign-in method).
- Session & access data — invite-code unlock sessions, approximate IP address, browser/device information, and login activity used to secure the product and enforce invite or organisation limits.
- Billing data — if you subscribe to Pro, our payment provider processes payment details. We keep customer and subscription identifiers and invoice references; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data — daily lookup and feature-use counters needed to operate Free and Pro allowances and entitlements.
- Product analytics — we may collect product-analytics events (including on the landing page) to understand how the product is used and to improve it. A soft in-app notice explains this; Accept dismisses the notice.
- Advertising / conversion measurement — we may use advertising and conversion-measurement tools to understand whether ads led to visits or other conversions (for example sign-in or purchase). Those tools may collect device or cookie identifiers for that measurement.
- Outreach records — if we email your organisation about access to the product, we may store send status (for example delivered, opened, bounced, complained, unsubscribed) and any suppression preference.
- Support correspondence — emails you send to [email protected].
We do not ask for passport numbers, visa application IDs, or other sensitive migration case documents as part of normal product use. SkillSelect statistics shown in the product are public aggregates, not your personal EOI record.
How we use information
- Provide sign-in, invite unlock, and Pro entitlements (including complimentary organisation grants).
- Process subscriptions and invoices through our payment provider.
- Enforce rate limits, human verification, abuse prevention, and account revocations.
- Send transactional emails needed for authentication and account operation, and, where applicable, operational outreach with an unsubscribe option.
- Understand product usage (including on the landing and dashboard) to improve the service.
- Measure advertising performance and conversions.
- Comply with law and respond to support requests.
Cookies & similar technologies
We use:
- Essential cookies / storage — session cookies for access control; browser storage for security tokens, UI preferences, and whether you have completed the product tour.
- Security — human-verification tools may set cookies or tokens to confirm that a visitor is human.
- Analytics — analytics cookies and local storage begin when you use the product (including the landing page). A soft notice is shown; Accept dismisses it and records that you have seen it.
- Advertising / conversion measurement — advertising and conversion-measurement tools may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure whether ads led to visits or conversions. You can remove them by clearing site data in your browser.
You can clear site data in your browser to remove analytics storage. Essential access cookies remain required to use the protected dashboard.
Legal bases (AU context)
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where applicable. We collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide the service, secure accounts, bill subscribers, and communicate with organisations that request or receive access invites.
Sharing
We use trusted service providers that help us run the product, including for authentication and data storage, payment processing, email delivery, human verification, product analytics, advertising conversion measurement, and application hosting. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service against abuse.
International transfers
Some service providers store or process data outside Australia. By using EOI Insights you acknowledge that your information may be processed in those locations under the providers’ safeguards.
Retention
We keep account, billing entitlement, security, and suppression records for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, and honour opt-outs. You can request deletion of your account data by emailing [email protected]; we may retain minimal records required for security, billing disputes, or legal compliance (including unsubscribe suppressions).
Your choices
- Sign out or stop using the product at any time.
- Cancel a paid subscription via Manage Account (paid subscribers only).
- Unsubscribe from outreach emails via the link in those emails (or email [email protected] with subject “Unsubscribe”).
- Contact us to access or correct account information we hold.
Children
EOI Insights is intended for adults and migration-practice professionals. It is not directed at children under 16.
Not migration advice
Analytics and visualisations are informational only. Decisions about visas or migration strategy should be made with a registered migration agent or lawyer where appropriate.
