Systems analysts evaluate existing systems and design how they should change or fit together — data flows, integrations and technical specifications. Where the business analyst starts from the business, the systems analyst starts from the system.
ANZSCO is the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations, and SkillSelect uses its six-digit codes to identify jobs. Code 261112 is Systems Analyst.
